Social Studies - Life in Nazi Germany

Hitler is now known as the biggest racisct that that the world ever saw. But once in Nazi Germany he was thought as the Fuhrer, improved Nazi Gernabty of life, who once was poor and couldn't permit himself holidays or railway faires, after Hitler's new ideas whoever could permit himself all of that and more. Hitler understood that if wanted to continue with his plans he had to persuade the German people to think like him. The first movement was established by Ley, it was the Beauty of Labour that was a campaign for better factorry working conditions. After that there was something more concrete; the Strenght Through Joy(KDF- Kraft Durche Freude). This brought more luxury: cars, holidays, more food and clothes, theatre tickets, sports courses and many things more. Hitler also created more new possibilities for children.A boy at age 15 had to join Hitler Jungovolk ( Hitler's Youth). It was a physicall and mental training. Hitler believed that first the body had to be shaped and then the mind. Also girls had to joina similar school at the same age: The Bund Deutscher Maden (league of the German Maidens). Girls weren't allowed to were miniskirts, make up, high heels and who disobeyed had to shaveher head.
