Drama-A Midsummer Night Dream- Helena
Helena is a beautiful Athenian lady in love with a man who doesn't appreciate her; Demetrius. Eventhrough Demetrius loves Hermia and not her Helena's love for him seems to have no end, so when Hermia and her love Lysander decide to escape in the woods Helena tells it to Demetrius and together they go in the wood. Demetrius tries everything to leave her and finally succeeds. While she was arguing fiercely with Demetrius, Oberon the king fairy has pity of Helena's love and decides to help her. Oberon ordered his helper Puck to put some lover's remedy on Demetrius eyes and make him see Helena as first thing so that he immediately fell in love with her. But Puck puts the magical remedy on the eyes of a Lysander and when he wakes up he sees Helena as the first thing and fell in love with her immediately. Helena didn't believe him, Lysander had always been Hermia's true love and got aggravated from his jock on her. When Oberon sees this he understand that Puck had mistaken himself and wetted Demetrius eyes with the same remedy. Helena then finds herself with two of the men that first hated her now loving her and becomes even more desperate when Hermia tricks her too. But while she fells asleep alone in the wood Puck brings her near Demetrius and puts the remedy again, he does the same thing for Lysander and Hermia and when they all wake up they are two happy couples that magic had fooled.
